Tamara Duisenova

Tamara Duisenova was born in 1965 in the village of Leninsky, Saryagash district, Chimkent region of the Kazakh SSR.

In 1987 she graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy.

She began her career in 1988 as a teacher at the secondary school named after Ilyich in the city of Saryagash, Chimkent region.

In 1988-1992, she was an economist at the Research Institute of Economics under the State Planning Committee of the Uzbek SSR.

In 1992-1993, she was senior economist of the Saryagash District Administration of the South Kazakhstan region.

In 1993-1994, she was a department head at the Perizat-Holding company, the city of Saryagash, South Kazakhstan region.

In 1994, she worked as an Adviser to the Head of the Saryagash District Administration of the South Kazakhstan region.

In 1994-1997, she was Deputy Akim of the Saryagash district of the South Kazakhstan region.

In 1997, she worked as the First Deputy Akim of the Saryagash district of the South Kazakhstan region.

In 1997-1999, she was First Deputy Akim of the city of Shymkent, South Kazakhstan region.

In 1999-2002, she was Deputy Akim of the South Kazakhstan region.

In 2002-2006, she worked as Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2006-2008, she was Deputy Akim of the South Kazakhstan region.

From 2008 to 2013, she worked as an Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From February to June 2013, she was Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2013-2014, she was Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2014-2017, she was Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2017-2018, she worked as the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2018-2019, she was the Secretary of the Nur Otan party.

In 2019-2020, she was President of the Joint Stock Company "Center for the Development of Labor Resources" of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2019-2020, she was temporaty adviser to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2020-2022, she was Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Head of the Department for Control over Consideration of Appeals of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since April 11, 2022, she was Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On April 4, 2023 by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was reappointed to the position of Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From June 8, 2023 she was Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On Sept. 2, 2023 she was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

February 6, 2024 by the Decree of the Head of State was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Within the framework of job responsibilities, coordinates the issues of:

  • development of education and science, health care, social modernization and social policy;

  • employment, interaction between the state and civil society, youth and family policy, and inter-confessional and inter-ethnic harmony;

  • development of culture and sport, state language, demographic and migration policy;

  • Auyl Amanaty program.
