Arystan Kabikenov appointed deputy head of the Office of the Prime Minister

By order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kabikenov Arystan Kenzhetaevich was appointed deputy head of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Arystan Kabikenov was born Oct. 11, 1980, in Zhezkazgan.

In 2002, he graduated from Baikonurov Zhezkazgan University, in 2004 – KIMEP, in 2012 – the University of Nottingham (the United Kingdom).

He began his career in 2001 in private sector.

In 2004-2006, he worked in various positions in the Ministry of Finance.

In 2006-2008, he served as head of the sector of the Macroeconomic Analysis and Program Monitoring Department of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2008-2011, he worked in the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2011-2015, he worked at the Center for Strategic Research and Analysis of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Regional Development, as well as at the Ministry of National Economy.

In 2015-2016, he was deputy head of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From October 2016 to January 2018, he served as adviser to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Japan.

In 2018-2019 worked as vice minister for investments and development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From March 2019, he has been deputy akim of Pavlodar region.
