Sergey Gromov relieved as vice minister of ecology, geology and natural resources of Kazakhstan

By Decree of the Government of Kazakhstan, Sergey Gromov was relieved as vice minister of ecology, geology and natural resources in connection with his transfer to another job.

Sergey Gromov was born in 1959 in the Taldykorgan region. Over the years, he was akim of the region, first deputy akim of the South Kazakhstan region, state inspector of the Presidential Administration, chief of staff, deputy chair, secretary of the Nur Otan People's Democratic Party, vice minister of defense of Kazakhstan.

From 2013 to 2016, he was deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the V convocation, a member of the Committee on International Relations, Defense and Security.

From 2016 to 2019, he was deputy chair of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since August 2019, he has been vice minister of ecology, geology and natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
