Prime Minister of Kazakhstan visits Aktobe region on a working trip

On July 21-22, 2021, the Prime Minister Askar Mamin made a working trip to the Aktobe region, where he got acquainted with the socio-economic development of the region.

The Head of Government visited the Zerde-Keramika Aktobe LLP plant, located in the Aktobe industrial zone. The capacity of the enterprise is 5 million sq. m. of porcelain stoneware and ceramic tiles per year. The volume of investments in the project is 9.2 billion tenge, commissioning is scheduled for the third quarter of this year. The company has created over 200 jobs.

Mamin got acquainted with the work of the Aktyubrentgen JSC plant, its production capacity is 122 X-ray machines and complexes per year. Some of the products are exported to Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

This year, measures of state support will cover more than 3.3 thousand SMEs of the Aktobe region. The Head of Government got acquainted with the work of the garment factory of PO Global-Spetsodezhda LLP, which employs about 200 people. The enterprise annually produces up to 1.2 million items. The production of a wide range of workwear, protective equipment, insulation for the production of workwear has been established.

The Prime Minister inspected the development of the region's energy potential. Mamin visited Aktobe CHP JSC, where the construction of a 57 MW gas turbine unit with a waste-heat boiler is currently underway. The implementation of the project will make it possible to increase the plant's capacity to 175 MW. Completion of the work is scheduled for December 2021.

In the village of Badamsha, Kargaly region, Askar Mamin got acquainted with the activities of the wind power plant of Arm Wind LLP. The construction of the second phase of the wind farm is currently underway. The station will annually produce about 400 GWh of electricity. The volume of investments in the second stage of the project is $85 million, the completion date is September 2021.

Askar Mamin inspected the progress of the reconstruction of the Aktobe - Atyrau - Astrakhan republican road. This year, a passage will be given on the Aktobe - Kandyagash section, the Kandyagash - Makat highway section will be commissioned by the end of this year. The Prime Minister instructed to complete the reconstruction of the highway efficiently and on time.

The Head of Government got acquainted with the construction progress of the Batys-2 microdistrict in Aktobe, the construction of which is planned to be completed in 2025. The total area of ​​the microdistrict is 535 hectares. More than 1 million square meters of housing are planned to be commissioned in the region this year.

In Martuk district, Askar Mamin examined the Milker LLP plant for the production of feed pellets. The cost of the investment project is 700 million tenge, the production capacity of the enterprise is 12 thousand tons of granulated feed from alfalfa hay per year. The finished product is in great demand both in Kazakhstan and abroad, in particular, in China, Russia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates.

Also, the Prime Minister Mamin was presented with a regional program for the development of the fishing industry of the Aktobe region until 2030. Over 10 years, it is planned to attract 37 billion tenge of private investment to the industry, to increase the number of farms to 72 entities with the creation of more than 400 new jobs.

During his visit to the greenhouse complex of Green Capital Kazakhstan LLP, the Prime Minister was presented with the current situation in the production of greenhouse products and the prospects for further development of this industry. Over the past three years, 8 new greenhouses have been commissioned in the Aktobe region. Until 2025, it is planned to implement two more large projects totaling 17 billion tenge. This is expected to provide a 40% increase in greenhouse production.

Following the results of 6 months of this year, the volume of industrial production in the Aktobe region increased, in comparison with the same period in 2020, by 8.2% — up to 997.2 billion tenge. The volume of gross agricultural output amounted to 116.9 billion tenge (+2.6%), the volume of construction work — to 76.9 billion tenge (+5.4%), 366.5 thousand square meters of housing were put into operation (+4.1%). The growth of investments in fixed assets amounted to 11.9%, 292.8 billion tenge were attracted. Until the end of 2021, it is planned to implement 31 investment projects worth 125.7 billion tenge.
