During the Government meeting, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev heard reports of heads of responsible state bodies on the situation in the domestic market of fuel and lubricants and gave a number of instructions to prevent a deficit.

Minister of Energy Kanat Bozumbayev, Vice Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin, Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC “KTZh” Kanat Alpysbayev, Akim of Karaganda region Yerlan Koshanov, Akmola region Malik Murzalin and Akim of Astana Asset Issekeshev reported on the current situation in the domestic market of fuel and coal.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev noted that the issues of providing the domestic market with oil products and coal are on the personal control of the Head of State. Instructions to responsible state bodies to prevent fuel shortages are given and will be on constant monitoring.

The controlling bodies in the sphere of natural monopolies are instructed to continue work on the detection of price collusion.

Coordination of issues on the presence of petroleum products and coal in the domestic market is entrusted to the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin.
