During the briefing in the press center of the Government of Kazakhstan, Akim of Atyrau region Nurlan Nogayev spoke about the introduction of Expo-2017 technologies in the region, as well as implementation of the Article of the Head of State "Looking into the Future: Modernizing Public Consciousness" and formation of an open akimat.

Nurlan Nogaev informed that for today in Atyrau region, in the direction of "Green Energy", five projects of Expo-2017 for the amount of more than 140 billion tenge are being implemented. In addition to them, at the moment, the possibility of using 23 more projects presented at the exhibition is under consideration.

According to the region’s akim, about 83 thousand people from Atyrau region visited the Expo-2017 International Exhibition. Of these, 13,000 are participants from educational institutions, universities, colleges and schools, and two thousand guides, which is the highest attendance in the republic.

Also, Nurlan Nogayev told about the work within the tasks stated in the program Article of the Head of State "Looking into the Future: Modernizing Public Consciousness". According to him, 106 projects are being implemented in Atyrau region for 1.6 billion tenge, of which 1088 billion are business sponsorship funds.

In addition, Nurlan Nogaev spoke about the efforts for formation of transparent work of the region’s akimat and specifically on the Telegram chat "Akimat of Atyrau region", launched in September with the aim of promptly responding to the population's requests.

"Guided by the Plan of the Nation ‘100 Concrete Steps’ of the Head of State, we took another step towards the formation of an open akimat. Since the beginning of work in the chat, we have received about a thousand requests, the group currently has about 900 people. On average, one or two working days are required to process and solve one issue. Today, when almost every person has a smartphone, this step enables us to significantly accelerate the interaction between the LEB and the population," N. Nogayev said.
