Alikhan Smailov holds meetings on development of Government Action Program for 2022

Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov held a series of meetings on the development of the Government Action Program for 2022.

The measures proposed by the Ministry of Trade and Integration are aimed at developing the infrastructure to support non-commodity exports, domestic trade, as well as actively curbing the rise in prices for socially important food products.

The measures presented by the Ministry of Education and Science provide for improving the system of training personnel in demand on the labor market, strengthening the requirements for the quality of services provided in the preschool education system, increasing the efficiency of spending, attracting the best teachers to the regions, creating safe conditions for schoolchildren, ensuring the availability of additional education and correctional support for children with special needs.

The Ministry of Culture and Sports has proposed measures to strengthen the social security of employees in the field of culture, the development of mass sports, primarily children's, by increasing the number of sports sections, sports instructors, expanding the network of amateur clubs, building sports facilities and holding mass sports events, improving social providing athletes and coaches. In the field of tourism, it is planned to implement a pool of 192 investment projects.

The Ministry of Information and Social Development has proposed measures to expand opportunities for training and employment of young people, the use of financial and non-financial instruments to support them, the involvement of civil society in the formation of a new social contract, the disclosure of relevant data by government agencies, taking into account the needs of the population and business.

The Ministry of Healthcare will focus on the development of primary health care for the population, primarily in rural areas — it is planned to open 80 medical facilities in rural areas, more than 3 million consultative and diagnostic services will be provided by mobile medical complexes.

Measures will be taken to improve the quality of life of the elderly by opening 70 geriatric rooms in primary health care organizations. The implementation of the Ansagan Sabi program will continue with the allocation of 7 thousand quotas for IVF, it is planned to open 8 children's rehabilitation centers, 2 early intervention centers.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population targets in 2022 the coverage of more than 700 thousand people with active employment measures. About 5 million people will be provided with social obligations of the state. This year, it is planned to develop a Social Code and a new Concept of Migration Policy aimed at addressing the issues of reducing the inter-regional disproportion in the distribution of the population.

The Ministry of Energy proposed measures to curb the prices of electronic carriers, cover the needs of the domestic market in petroleum products, electricity, liquefied and commercial gas, attract investments in various sectors of the country's fuel and energy complex, etc.

Measures proposed by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry for 2022 include increasing the availability of IT education, the introduction of the 5G cellular communication standard in the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent, Internet coverage of hard-to-reach villages through the use of non-geostationary satellite constellations.

“All items in the Program should be practical and aimed at a real improvement in the quality of life of the population. It is necessary to develop effective measures so that the people of the country feel positive changes,” the Prime Minister said.
