Today, within the framework of the press conference following the meeting of the Government, Vice Minister for Investments and Development, Roman Sklyar told about the introduction of toll roads in the framework of the State Program "Nurly Zhol".

As the vice minister noted, from 2013 there is an only paid section of the highway "Astana-Schuchinsk" in Kazakhstan with the length of 217 km.

"At present it has fully proved its efficiency. This section of the highway we keep only at the expense of charging, without attracting budget funds," he stressed.

In this regard, MID RK plans to continue to provide defect-free road maintenance only by charging a fee. At the same time, the current, average, capital repairs and reconstruction of roads will be carried out at the expense of the republican budget.

Also R. Sklyar informed that in December of this year, three more road sections will be paid: "Astana-Temirtau", "Almaty-Kapshagai" and "Almaty-Khorgos". At the moment, the objects are being completed.

"Next year, we plan to introduce more than 5.5 thousand km of toll roads, which will also be contained without attracting budget funds," the vice minister summed up.
