Bakytzhan Sagintayev gave a number of instructions on implementation of State Program for AIC Development

Today, during the meeting of the Government, First Vice Minister of Agriculture Kairat Aituganov reported on the measures being taken to improve state support for agriculture.

In order to improve the state support of the agro-industrial complex, as well as within the framework of the State Program for the AIC Development for 2017-2021, Maps for the Development of Priority Areas of Agriculture and Improving State Support for the Agro-Industrial Complex have been developed.

Ten Maps for development of agricultural cooperation, agro-processing, intensive technical re-equipment of AIC, seed production, plant protection, agrochemistry, fodder production, wholesale distribution centers, increased plow lands, and otter sheep were adopted.

At the development stage there are Maps of the development of agrarian science, production of beef, increasing the effectiveness of state support measures through the transition from subsidy to concessional lending.

In the course of the meeting, chairman of the Committee of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Atameken NCE, Ivan Sauer, chairman of the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan, Meiram Pshembaev, rector of the Kazakh Agrotechnical University after S. Seifullin, Akylbek Kurishbayev, chairman of the Farmers Union of Karaganda region, Igor Zhabyak, akims of Zhambyl region, Karim Kokrekbayev, Akmola region – Malik Murzalin.

Following the consideration of the issue, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev gave a number of specific instructions:

The Ministry of Agriculture together with the akimats should build an effective chain from the production of agricultural products to export to foreign markets;

MA together with the MES RK to work out the issue of increasing the number of grants provided to rural youth with the condition of their compulsory employment in rural areas;

MA together with akimats to carry out a detailed analysis of the mechanism for subsidizing agricultural products, taking into account the specialization of the regions, and also to work out the integration of all the activities presented today into the State Program for the AIC Development until 2021.
