Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev instructed mayors to keep flood situation under control

During the meeting of the Government, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bakytzhan Sagintayev, heard reports on measures to ensure security in regions prone to floods and instructed mayors to keep the situation under control.

Opening the meeting of the Government, before proceeding to the agenda, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev focused on the issue of flooding in Kazakhstan and heard reports from the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Kassymov, as well as mayors of Karaganda, Kostanay, Akmola, North Kazakhstan and East- Kazakhstan regions on the current flood situation and measures to prevent emergencies.
 

"Dear colleagues, I ask you to keep the situation on the ground under control, Askar Uzakpaevich (Mamin - First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, comment) is responsible for coordination," B.Sagintayev said.

It should be reminded that earlier the tragic event, occurred in Karaganda region, became known. As a result of the tragedy, the current in the Kopa river carried away two brothers from the village named after Nurken Abdirov, Karkaralin area.
