Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev received report about reconstruction of CHP-1 in Semey

As part of his working trip to East Kazakhstan region,  Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan inspected the process of reconstruction of CHP-1 in Semey, which provides 70% of the residential and administrative buildings of the left-bank with heat.

Also, B. Sagintayev was informed about the construction of CHP-3, which is one of the priority projects for the region. At the moment, a feasibility study has been developed for the project and a state expertise report has been obtained.

The aim of the project is to replace the capacity of numerous boiler houses with low efficiency and reliability, cover the increase in thermal loads, create an environmentally friendly source with efficient technology for the production of heat and electricity.

The project will contribute to the further development of local production and their long-term operation, including coal mining from the Karazhira field.
