Emergency repairs in Ekibastuz continue

The First Deputy Prime Minister, Roman Sklyar, continues to be in Ekibastuz on behalf of the Head of State to oversee the response to the accident at the city's heating network.

In order to coordinate actions and make operational decisions, the First Deputy Prime Minister holds regular meetings of a special staff. So, currently additional equipment is involved, more than 50 units in total. There are 36 brigades (261 people) working in the field.

As of 12:00 on December 3, 48 out of 76 houses without heating had been fully covered, while the necessary measures were still being taken in 28 others. At the same time, 14 heating points are still functioning for the townspeople.

The progress of repair work is under control of the Government and local executive bodies. Roman Sklyar will stay in the city until the consequences of the emergency are completely eliminated.
