Prime Minister Askar Mamin inspects progress of work on ensuring quarantine regime in Nur-Sultan

March 19, 2020, the Chair of the State Commission on Ensuring the State of Emergency under the President of Kazakhstan, Prime Minister Askar Mamin inspected the work on ensuring the quarantine regime in the capital.

During a visit to checkpoint No. 2 at the entrance to Nur-Sultan along the Nur-Sultan – Petropavlovsk highway, the Head of Government was informed about the security service of internal affairs officers, sanitary-epidemiological control and military personnel of the Armed Forces in conditions of the capital’s quarantine closing.

Mamin got acquainted with the progress of the conversion of urban infrastructure to ensure stationary quarantine in case of need.

The Head of Government instructed to ensure the coordinated work of the akimat of the capital, police, health and military personnel of the Armed Forces in quarantine.

The inspection visit was attended by the akim of Nur-Sultan Altai Kulginov, ministers healthcare Yelzhan Birtanov, internal affairs — Yerlan Turgumbayev and defense — Nurlan Yermekbayev.
