Minister of National Economy 

He was born on April 11, 1980.

In 1999 he graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management with a degree in "International Economic Relations".

In 2001 he graduated Management and Business School of George Washington University (United States) under the "Bolashak" program. He was awarded the degree of Master of Business Management.

In 2002 he graduated from Taraz State University named after M. Dulati, "Law" specialty.

He began his career in 2001 as finance manager of JSC "Development Bank of Kazakhstan".

In 2002–2003 he worked as head of the functional analysis of the budget of the Department of Policy and Planning, Deputy Head of Department of Strategic Planning and Investment Policy of the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of Kazakhstan.

In 2003–2004 – Managing Director, member of the Board of JSC "National Innovation Fund".

In 2004–2005 – Deputy Chairman of the Board, member of the Board of JSC "Center of Marketing and Analytical Research".

In 2005 – Vice-President of JSC "Corporation "Ordabasy", Chairman of the Board of JSC "Intercomshin".

In 2005–2006 – Advisor to the Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of Kazakhstan.

In 2006 – Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister.

In 2006–2007 – President of JSC "Center for Trade Policy Development" under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

In 2007 – Vice-Minister of Industry and Trade.

In 2008–2009 – head of the department of social and economic monitoring of the Presidential Administration.

In 2009–2010 – Assistant of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2010–2011 – Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade; in 2011-2013 - Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna".

In May 2013, he was appointed as Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Holding "Baiterek".
