Video Digest on results of Prime Minister Askar Mamin’s working visit to Shymkent and Turkistan region

June 21-22, Prime Minister Askar Mamin, during a working visit to the Turkistan region and the city of Shymkent, familiarized himself with the work of life-support facilities, transport infrastructure and the development of Turkistan.

In Turkistan, the prime minister checked the development of the regional center.

The head of Government got acquainted with the start of construction of a new international airport, located 16 km from the regional center with a terminal capacity of 3 million passengers a year.

The prime minister was presented the project of the future multi-regional medical center with 610 beds. The new hospital will be built with the participation of foreign and domestic investors in the framework of public-private partnership.

As part of the trip, Askar Mamin inspected the development of the regional center and the administrative, social, cultural and historical facilities under construction.

In Shymkent, the head of the Government visited the territory of urban sewage treatment plants, where he inspected the operation of the wastewater treatment system and the sludge treatment complex for generating electrical energy.

The prime minister also visited the first bus depot “Shymkent Bus,” where it was reported on the organization of regular urban passenger traffic and the renewal of the rolling stock of local public transport.

In addition, Askar Mamin was presented the project of the Tourist and Recreation Complex "Kaskasu," which will contribute to the development of mass skiing.
