The main events of the week from Aug. 12 to 17, 2019

At the regular Government session chaired by Prime Minister Askar Mamin, the results of socio-economic development and the implementation of the Republican budget of Kazakhstan for January-July 2019, as well as the preparations for the start of the new 2019-2020 academic year were considered.

Mamin took part in an expanded meeting of the political council of the Nur Otan party.

The head of Government paid a working visit to Turkmenbashi, where he took part in the I Caspian Economic Forum and held a working meeting with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The prime minister paid a working visit to the Kostanay region, where he got acquainted with the progress of industrial and infrastructural development of the region, held a workshop on automotive and agricultural engineering of Kazakhstan.

Askar Mamin visited Turkistan region with a working trip. In the region, the head of Government inspected the restoration of the residential sector, educational and health facilities in Arys, as well as the construction of administrative, historical, cultural, and social buildings in Turkistan.
