Minister of Education

Gani Beisembayev

Was born in 1969 in Kyzylorda region. 

He graduated from the Abay Almaty State University. He has a PhD in Philosophy and Psychology.

From 1989-1995, he worked as a teacher of Kazakh language, deputy director on educational work of secondary school №14 of Talgar district of Almaty region.

From 1995-1997, he held the position of headmaster of secondary school №12 of Iliysk district of Almaty region.

From 1997 till 2000, he was the scientific secretary, the adviser of the Kazakh academy of education named after Altynsarin Kazakh Academy of Education.

From 2000-2001, he headed the department of education of Kapshagay town of Almaty region. 

From 2001 till 2006, he worked as a director of International Centre for Supplementary Education Ltd. 

In 2006-2007, he worked as a director of Technical and Economic College of Almaty Technological University. 

From 2007 to 2020, he was General Director of the Edtech-Kz International Centre for Supplementary Education. 

In 2020, he was appointed as a director of the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre "Textbook" of the Ministry of Education and Science.

In 2020-2022, held a post of the President of the National Academy of Education named after Altynsarin.

From March to Aug. 2022, he was Deputy Minister of Education and Science. 

From August 2022, he was Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education.

On Jan. 4, 2023 he was appointed as Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On April 4, 2023, by the Decree of the President, he was reappointed Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On February 6, 2024, he was appointed Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
