Yerulan Zhamaubayev
He was born March 25, 1974, in the Alma-Ata region.
In 1995, he graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management with a degree in Finance and Credit, in 2009 — from Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
He began his career in 1996 as a teacher at the Kazakh State Academy of Management.
From 1998 to 2014, he was a leading analyst, chief analyst, chief specialist analyst, head of department, deputy director of the Department of Research and Statistics, director of the Coordination Department of the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
In 2014-2015, he worked as managing director of JSC Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan.
From 2015 to 2018, he was deputy head, head of the Department of Social and Economic Monitoring of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan.
In 2018-2019, he was an assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since March 2019, he was executive secretary of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On May 18, 2020, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was appointed minister of finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On Jan. 18, 2021, by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was reappointed as minister of finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On March 29, 2022, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On April 3, 2023, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was reappointed Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
