17 house building factories to be launched in Kazakhstan

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev held a session focused on the issues regarding rational location of house building factories, the press service of the Ministry reported.

Presently, 1 house building factories are planned to be built. 11 of them plan to apply large-panel housing construction technology and the rest 6 – frame construction, the Ministry informs.

 The house building factories will be opened in the regions taking into consideration their capacities and forecast volume of construction within the Affordable Housing – 2020 Program and taking into consideration regional specifics and availability of personnel.

In accordance with the Ministry, implementation of a project of “Ontustik Kurylys Service” LLP is planned to be completed in South Kazakhstan region by the end of 2012. 13 projects will be implemented in 2013. Thereat, the mechanisms of the Productivity – 2020 Program are planned to be applied in construction of 10 house building factories while the mechanisms of the Business Road Map – 2020 are to be used in another 4 projects. One project on construction of a house building factory is planned to be financed through “Samruk Kazyna Invest” JSC and two projects – through the second-tier banks.

As earlier reported, development of the system of house building factories is one of the priority directions of the Affordable Housing – 2020 Program.
