Ministers and governors were instructed to analyze attitude of Kazakhstanis to reforms in education sphere

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev instructed ministers and governors to analyze the attitude of Kazakhstanis to new reforms in education at the meeting at Akorda.

"I know that people have questions about statements voiced by the Ministry of Education and Science on extension of the school year in secondary schools and introduction of trilingual education. It is necessary for the Government to examine carfeully public opinion, using the August conference, " N. Nazarbayev said.

He noted that it is necessary to engage actively new dialogue platforms in all these matters.

According to the President, they should not become an appendage of state bodies, the debate should be open to the media and the public.

"I instruct all ministers and governors to analyze carefully the attitude of the society to reforms in all areas," the Head of State ordered.
