Digitalization of education in Pavlodar: Bakytzhan Sagintayev examines equipped studios and laboratories in Schoolchildren's Palace

September 14 within the framework of the working trip to Pavlodar region, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the regional Schoolchildren's Palace where he got acquainted with the digitalization of the education system in the region.

During the examination of the thematic offices, Director of the Schoolchildren’s Palace A. Yerubayeva reported on the work of the institution, on the technical equipment and capabilities of the IT class, and also introduced the interactive touch-screen module Touch Table for diagnosing the personality characteristics, talents, skills and inclinations of a person for certain professional activities.

Bakytzhan Sagintayev examined the work of the children's technopark and the business incubator. In the laboratory of robotics the pupils showed devices of different complexity levels and told about their application, and in the IT class the developed projects and programs were presented. A brief presentation of schoolchildren's photo projects was also held. At the same time, the Prime Minister got acquainted with the scientific and technical equipment of the astronomical laboratory.

In addition, the Laboratory of 3D-modeling, start-up studio, where they teach the basics of business and develop projects in the sphere of mobile applications, sites, etc., are located in the palace.

The institution has 36 rooms. Of these, specialized: robotics room, nine rooms with interactive equipment, an astronomical class with multimedia equipment, a recording studio, five vocal studios, an office for the orchestra of Kazakh folk instruments, Luch motion picture studio, an astronomy laboratory, an environmental laboratory, a photographic studio. There are laboratories of robot complexes, an astrological laboratory, 3D-modeling, start-up academy, IT class, three choreographic halls, a library, a big theater hall for 400 seats, a small lecture hall for 150 seats, a museum of military glory Grandfathers - Veterans, Grandchildren - Pathfinders. The observatory is equipped with three planetary and two solar telescopes. In 2014, a planetarium with a full-dome digital cinema was opened.

In 2014-2017 in 124 international and republican competitions in robotics, astronomy, journalism, choreography, vocals, arts and crafts, the students took 478 prizes. Also pupils and collectives took part in 51 competitions of different levels and won 215 awards. Of these, there are 11 Grand Prix, 89 first places, 54 second, 56 third and 5 cups.

In addition, the palace organizes work on the development of children with disabilities, and experimental groups of 4-5 years old pupils.
