Minister of Justice
Marat Beketayev Bakytzhanovich was born on August 29, 1977 in South Kazakhstan region.
In 1998, he graduated from the Kazakh State Law University, in 2000 - London School of Economics.
In 2001-2002 - head of the sector of information processing organizational and Protocol Department of RSE "Department of Diplomatic Missions of MFA of Kazakhstan."
In 2002-2003 - head of the organizational-analytical department of "Management for Service to the Diplomatic Corps" CJSC in Almaty.
From August to December 2003 - Head of the Department, management of the Legal Department of Civil Service of the Agency for Civil Service.
From January to September 2004 - Advisor to the Chairman of Kazakhstan Agency for Civil Service Affairs, Deputy Director of the State Institution "Center for Information and testing" of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs.
In 2004-2006 - Deputy Director, Director of State Enterprise "Eurasian Center for training of civil servants" of the Agency for Civil Service.
In 2006-2007 - Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2007 - Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2007-2010 - Vice-Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In the period 2010-2015 - Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In the years 2015-2016 - Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On September 13, 2016, by presidential decree was appointed as Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He was awarded the "Kurmet" Order (2011).
