By the decision of the Government of Kazakhstan and in agreement with the Head of the Presidential Administration, Rustem Kurmanov was relieved of his duties as vice minister of agriculture and appointed by the decision of the board of directors to the post of chairman of the board of JSC "NMH "Kazagro."
Rustem Kurmanov was born in 1981 in the North Kazakhstan region. He graduated from Valikhanov Kokshetau State University. He has a scientific degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.
He began his career in 2003 as a leading specialist in the Economic Analysis Division of the Akmola Regional Territorial Administration of the State Inspection Committee in the agro-industrial complex of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
In 2012-2013, he held the position of a director of the Investment Policy Department of the Ministry of Agriculture.
In 2013-2015, he was a chairman of the Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture.
From 2015 to 2016, he worked as a secretary of the committee in the agro-industrial complex of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From July 2017, he has held the post of vice-minister of agriculture.
Earlier the post of the chairman of Kazagro holding since 2015 has been occupied by Nurlybek Malelov.
