Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov took part in the opening ceremony of the 17th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum “Summer Davos” in Dalian (PRC) and held a series of bilateral meetings with the Prime Ministers of Mongolia and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, as well as the President and Managing Director of the World Economic Forum.
On the sidelines of the 17th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum “Summer Davos” in China, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov held meetings with heads of major Chinese companies that hold leading positions in industry and digitalization.
During his working visit to the People’s Republic of China, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting with Premier of the State Council of the PRC Li Qiang.
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin held meetings with the Governor of Kunduz Province Maulavi Nasrullah Mati and the Governor of Herat Province Noor Ahmad Islamjar.
The relevant Memorandum of Intent on cooperation in the field of water resources and irrigation management, as well as the development of sustainable agriculture in the context of climate change, was signed by the Kazakh National University of Water Management and Irrigation, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, and Kabul University.
As part of his official visit to Kabul, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin held a meeting with Afghanistan’s Minister of Internal Affairs Sirajuddin Haqqani.
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlybek Nalibayev, during his working visit, visited North Kazakhstan Region, where he familiarized himself with the implementation of industrial, infrastructure, energy, and agricultural projects in the region.

The implementation of agreements reached during the negotiations at the level of the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Montenegro was discussed during a meeting between President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović and Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov.
During his working visit to Abay Region, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin familiarized himself with the operations of the Damu Fund’s mobile front offices, which help entrepreneurs from remote settlements receive state services and consultations without the need to travel to regional centers.
