The issue of unlocking the potential of the transport and logistics sector was discussed in Astana as part of Kazakhstan Transport Week. Attention was focused on the development of rail, road, maritime, and air transport, the implementation of digital solutions, enhancing the efficiency of international freight transportation, and training industry personnel.

During a working trip to the Karaganda region, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov reviewed the modernization of Balkhash's municipal, energy, and social infrastructure as part of the tasks set by the Head of State to improve the quality of life for citizens. The visits included the Balkhash Combined Heat and Power Plant (CHP), a new angiographic center at the multidisciplinary hospital, and the Balkhash Industrial Zone.
The Prime Minister reviewed the activities of Balkhash's town-forming enterprises, the progress of modernizing the mining-metallurgical and copper-smelting complex, the implementation of new industrial facilities, and current results from geological exploration projects.
