Today in Ukimet Uyi the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with the Minister of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China Han Changfu.

During the meeting, issues of implementation of agreements on cooperation in the field of agricultural development which were concluded between Kazakhstan and China during the official visit of President Nazarbayev to Beijing in May of this year were discussed.

May 13 this year the President N. Nazarbayev arrived in Beijing to participate in the Forum for International Cooperation "One Belt, One Way". Within the framework of the official visit, the Head of State held a number of working meetings with leaders of foreign countries.

The importance of cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China in attracting investments and developing processing of agricultural products was also highlighted in the framework of the meeting between the President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in Astana in June this year.
