Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited Atyrau region with a working trip on the instructions of the Head of State on September 15 of this year. The main purpose of the trip was to clarify and implement the Address "Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness" and the program article "Looking into the Future: Modernizing Public Consciousness".

The first object in the schedule of the working trip of Bakytzhan Sagintayev was the APEC PetroTechnic technical school. The Prime Minister got acquainted with the modern formats of personnel training for the oil and gas industry, visited the laboratories of chemical and physical processes in the oil and gas sector, the workshops of the educational institution, hostels, and also met with students on the issues of personnel training for future professions.

One of the key events during the Prime Minister's working visit was a meeting on technological modernization of oil and gas enterprises within the framework of the Address "Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness".

During the meeting with the members of the Regional Council of Atameken NCE, the issues of development of small and medium business were discussed.

Further, Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the Caspian Royal Fish hatchery, inspected the operation of the Kashagan field facilities, including the artificial island D, the Bolashak oil and gas refinery and the granulated sulfur plant.

Also, the Prime Minister got acquainted with the construction of residential apartment buildings within the framework of the Nurly Zher program and visited one of the PSCs in Atyrau.
