The main events of the week from 11 to 15 September 2017

• Republican meeting on the digitization of the economy was held under the chairmanship of the Head of State last week in Astana. During the meeting, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev presented the program of innovative development "Digital Kazakhstan", developed by the Government.
• On the same day, within the framework of the Republican meeting on digitalization, a special exhibition was organized, at which state bodies, domestic companies and organizations presented more than thirty IT projects. The exhibition was visited by the Head of State N. Nazarbayev.
• Within the framework of the Republican meeting on digitization issues, a meeting with international experts was held, where the main aspects of the state program “Digital Kazakhstan” were discussed.
• In Ukimet Uyi B. Sagintayev held a number of meetings with the CEO of BitFury Valery Vavilov, Vice President of Cisco for the CIS D. Sparrow and Hyperloop Executive Chairman and Co-Founder Sh. Pishevar.
• The issues of the harvesting campaign of 2017, the new Tax Code and measures to attract the population to physical training and development of sports infrastructure were considered during the regular meeting of the Government chaired by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan on Tuesday, September 12.
• Also last week, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Sagintayev met with the Head of the OPM of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed Abdallah Al-Gargavi.
• Presentation of the draft general development plan for the city of Taldykorgan took place in Ukimet Uyi.
• Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with representatives of YPO on Wednesday, September 13.
• The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a meeting on the implementation of the Astana Hub project on Thursday, September 14.
• Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited Atyrau region with a working trip on the instructions of the Head of the State on September 15 of this year. The main purpose of the trip was clarification on the implementation of the Address "Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness" and the program article "Looking into the Future: Modernizing Public Consciousness".
