Results of Expo-2017 to stimulate the development of educational programs in Kazakhstan

This opinion was expressed by the Chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science Bolatbek Abdrassilov during the press conference in the Government.

Bolatbek Abdrassilov said that the exhibition Expo-2017 allowed Kazakhstani researchers to establish direct contacts with their foreign colleagues and establish relations in the field of science and education with major specialists from around the world.

"We had an opportunity to establish contacts with representatives of almost all countries of the world and our research institutes and universities have taken full advantage of this opportunity. Now we can say that the contacts that have been developed during the Expo-2017 will contribute both to the transfer of technologies and joint research, in this direction there are already relevant agreements," B. Abdrassilov said.

He stressed that a large block of educational technologies was presented at the Expo.

"There were a lot of interesting exhibits at the exhibition that could be used in schools of our country. A lot of interesting things that are difficult to explain in words were presented in the form of visual showpieces. We will use these world-class achievements in our schools," B. Abdrassilov said.

He also informed that the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan is creating an information site where samples of relevant educational technologies will be placed. The portal will be accessible to all educational institutions of Kazakhstan. According to the head of the science committee, this will help to improve domestic educational programs and textbooks.
