The technologies of Expo will increase efficiency and reduce emissions when generating energy in Kazakhstan

The introduction of technologies presented at Expo-2017 will allow to increase efficiency and reduce emissions when generating energy in Kazakhstan. This opinion was expressed by Vice Minister of Energy Magzum Mirzagaliyev during the press conference in the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"As for subsidizing and financing from the akimats and private companies, undoubtedly, the introduction of new technologies implies investment. As for the rise in price due to this monopolistic services: water, electricity, waste recycling, and so on, we are just introducing technologies to improve efficiency, reduce losses in the generation and supply of energy, and reduce emissions. Therefore, all technologies are aimed at optimizing existing or planning new production facilities," M. Mirzagaliyev said.

He noted that it is necessary to wait for the introduction of new technologies in the energy sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as this is not a fast enough process and after that the ministry will be able to report in detail about the work done and the results achieved.

Earlier, during a press conference, M. Mirzagaliyev said that more than hundreds of new technologies which were presented at the Expo-2017 exhibition have been selected for the introduction into the energy industry of Kazakhstan.
