The main events of the week from 18 to 23 September 2017

• On Tuesday the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev chaired a regular meeting of the Government. During the meeting, the results of socio-economic development and execution of the republican budget for 8 months of 2017, the Concept of Migration Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2017-2021, the application of new technologies presented at Expo-2017 were revised, as well as the draft code "On Subsoil and Subsoil Use" was approved.
• On September 18 Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with the Chairman of the Asian Forum of Parliamentarians Keizo Takemi in Ukimet Uyi.
• On September 19, a meeting was held with the Mission Chief for Kazakhstan of the International Monetary Fund Mark Horton.
• On Wednesday, September 20, Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a number of bilateral meetings with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Kazakhstan Francis Etienne and Senior Vice President of Nokia Markus Borchert.
• On September 21 the Prime Minister held a regular meeting of the Expert Council on Economic Affairs and a meeting of the Council for Economic Policy. On the same day, a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Baiterek NMH was held.
• Also this week a series of press conferences devoted to the legacy of Expo-2017 took place at the press center of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The subject of the briefings concerned the activities of the Astana International Financial Center, as well as the application of new technologies in the field of science and energy.
