Over 55 new technologies of Expo-2017 to be introduced in Kazakhstan — K. Bozumbayev

Today during the meeting of the Government chaired by the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev, the issues of introducing technologies presented at the Expo-2017 exhibition were considered. Minister of Energy Kanat Bozumbayev and Minister of Education and Science Yerlan Sagadiyev reported on the ongoing work.

As Kanat Bozumbayev noted, the expert working group of the Ministry of Energy selected 105 foreign and 28 domestic technologies demonstrated in the foreign pavilions of Expo in four directions:

  • oil and gas — 27 technologies,
  • coal industry — 7 technologies,
  • power engineering, energy saving and RES — 63 technologies,
  • Ecology (waste management, water treatment, air quality control) — 36 technologies.

This list was sent to national and private companies, as well as akimats for consideration and selection of technologies. In addition, to provide maximum information, a list of technologies with contact information of developers was posted on the website of the Ministry of Energy.

"Akimats have currently selected 40 technologies for implementation, four of which will be implemented in 2018. National companies selected 15 technologies for implementation, two of which will also be introduced in 2018," said Kanat Bozumbayev.

Technologies for energy saving, water purification, smart grids and the use of renewable energy in enterprises were selected.

In the sphere of oil and gas, 7 technologies have been selected from Russia, the US, China and Finland. For example, the Akimat of Kostanay region plans in 2018 to introduce the German technology "Installation of the gas analytic complex of SGC-510". Thanks to the introduction of this technology, gas consumption will be reduced, which will save about 40 million tenge per year.

In the direction of Power Engineering, 35 technologies have been identified, among them akimats have selected 26. One of them is the Chinese technology "Autonomous stations for free charging for mobile phones" — will be introduced in 2018 in the North-Kazakhstan region. The technology will reduce costs for consumed electrical energy and environmental stress. At present, the akimat reached an agreement with the Chinese company Shenzhen on the supply of equipment.

In the direction of Ecology, akimats selected 10 technologies in the field of cleaning of domestic and industrial wastewater, air quality control and waste management. According to the Minister of Energy, the list of technologies is to be clarified further.
