Today, within the framework of the working visit to the Pavlodar region, Majilis deputies Meiram Pshembayev and Artur Platonov visited Gissenhaus LLP in the territory of SEZ Pavlodar.

It should be noted that the priority activity of the SEZ Pavlodar is the manufacturing in the chemical and petrochemical industries. One of the projects implemented in the SEZ is Gissenhaus LLP for the production of alloyed aluminum. This is a joint Kazakh-Russian project; the volume of investments is 6.7 billion tenge.

According to the management of the plant, the capacity of the project is 36 thousand tons of aluminum per year. Half of the volume is export-oriented. On the basis of the plant, light alloy car wheel disks are manufactured, very soon it is planned to start the production of a whole range of goods. The raw material source is primary aluminum, both in liquid form and in the form of castings.

The project was implemented as part of the measures to create a cluster of aluminum production and will be the first in the history of metallurgy in Kazakhstan, which contains in one territory the production of almost all aluminum-processing industries.

By the way, the working trip of the deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament, M.Pshembayev and A. Platonov to the Pavlodar region is to continue until 12 January.
