Today in Ukimet Uyi, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev chaired a meeting of the State Commission for Modernization of the Economy of Kazakhstan.

The meeting discussed issues aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth of the country and modernizing the economy within the framework of the President's Address to the People "New Opportunities for Development in the Conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution."

In particular, the privatization plans for 2016-2020, the mechanisms for transferring certain assets of the Samruk-Kazyna group to the competitive environment, as well as the approaches of the ministries for building the system of work on the modernization of agriculture, investment and development, defense and aerospace industry, energy, finance, culture and sports, education and sciences, health, labor and social protection of the population in 2018 were considered.
