As part of a working visit to the North Kazakhstan region, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov visited production facilities in the region.

Thus, having familiarized himself with the progress of construction of the broiler poultry farm Northern Broiler LLP, Yeraly Tugzhanov described the project, the essence of which is to unite private farms into cooperatives and the development of agricultural production in rural areas. The advantage of this project is the creation of a production belt around the enterprise.

"Through a system of counter commitments, entrepreneurs must provide real help to people. It is necessary to build a mechanism of interaction between business and people, which will serve as a model for the whole republic," the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.

The head of Northern Broiler LLP came to this region of Kazakhstan from Almaty Region. The company is investing 5.4 billion tenge. It is planned to create 168 permanent jobs. Employees will be recruited from local residents. Thus, the villagers will have year-round employment.

"Enterprises supported by the state undertake obligations to help the population of the villages where they are based. In particular, they help in the development of subsistence farming of the residents," Kumar Aksakalov said.

It is worth noting that the new poultry farm has a good capacity. It will produce 5 thousand tons of poultry meat. A total of three poultry farms are under construction in the oblast with a total capacity of 16 thousand tons of poultry meat per year. This will allow to cover the region's demand for poultry meat. 

Next, Yeraly Tugzhanov became acquainted with the production process of a plywood mill in Petropavlovsk. The project was implemented by Turkish investors, invested here more than 4.1 billion tenge. Design capacity of the plant is 30 thousand cubic meters of laminated plywood. The enterprise will be able to cover 22% of the internal demand for plywood. It will create 210 permanent jobs.

Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov also visited sewing workshop of IE Zhukenova. Currently, 9 jobs have been created in the workshop, and 40 more new jobs are planned to be created.

In general, 17 dairy farms, three poultry farms, a greenhouse complex and an oil extraction plant are under construction in the region. This year a brick factory, an enterprise for the production of reinforced concrete products and a dairy plant for the production of cheese were opened. It is planned to launch a paper products factory and an autoclaved gas blocks plant. It is also expected the implementation of investment projects on the production of chipboard, electric switchboard equipment and light steel thin-walled structures.

This year it is planned to put 401 thousand sq m of housing into operation in the North-Kazakhstan region. Also 663 kilometres of roads will be repaired, 22 billion tenge will be allocated for this aim. In the water supply sphere the repair work will cover 55 villages.
