Today at a press conference following the meeting of the Government, Vice Minister of Education and Science Bibigul Assylova told about the implementation of mass entrepreneurship in terms of the educational process.

Currently, 21.1 thousand people study under the Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship.

"In total, within 5 years it is planned to train about 106 thousand people. To implement the Program in 2017, 4.7 billion tenge was allocated. The students are divided into 271 specialties. For example, about 30% study in the specialty 'service and maintenance', 13% – agriculture and construction, and 19% of the general plan of reception – transprot," Bibigul Assylova said.

The Vice Minister noted that the educational programs have been completely revised and re-confirmed. New modular programs are developed with the participation of employers, Atameken NCE. The essence of these programs is that they are practice oriented, flexible, can be changed to meet the demands of employers.

"The peculiarity of these programs is that during the training course, our students can receive about three qualifications of a middle-level specialist in three years," the Vice Minister of Education and Science explained, answering journalists' questions.

Recall that today in the framework of the meeting of the Government chaired by the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev, preliminary results of the Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship were considered.

Minister of Education and Science Yerlan Sagadiyev, speaking with a report, noted that the Program identified such categories of participants as graduates of 9th and 11th grades, persons who did not enter educational institutions seeking employment from among those who are in a difficult life situation and members of low-income families. The Program participants are provided with a scholarship, one-time hot meals, and travel.
