Bakytzhan Sagintayev holds meetings within the framework of Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable

Today in Ukimet Uyі, within the framework of the Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable, which will start its work on December 5 in Astana, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a number of bilateral meetings with the president of Cathay Industrial Biotech, Liu Shikai, Managing Director of Areva Mines Jacques Peythieu and co-author of the program "STREET SIGNS" on the CNBC channel, Oriel Morrison.

During the meetings, issues of strengthening further cooperation and implementing new investment projects in the field of industrialization and the nuclear industry were discussed.

Cathay Industrial Biotech was founded in 1997. In Kazakhstan, the company is considering the creation of a biochemical cluster and the organization of a full-scale production of modified fibers. With the implementation of all five production cycles required to implement the project, the amount of investments will be about $10 billion and will contribute to the creation of about 10 thousand jobs.

Areva is a large French industrial company, one of the leaders of the nuclear industry in France. The only Western company that until the summer of 2016 was represented in all activities related to the production of nuclear energy. It was also engaged in the development and production of equipment for power generation from alternative sources.
