Kamalzhan Nadyrov appointed vice minister of healthcare

By the Decree of the Government, Kamalzhan Nadyrov was appointed vice minister of healthcare, the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan reports.

Nadyrov was born in 1983 in the city of Almaty. He graduated from the Asfendiyarov Kazakh State Medical University, Turan University, Graduate School of Public Health. Over the years, he studied at Duke University, Fuqua School of Business (USA), Parkway College (Singapore), Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals (Turkey), and Oxford Social Health Insurance System (Germany).

In 2007-2014, he worked at the Jarbussynov Research Center of Urology as a clinical intern, department head, deputy general director.

He has worked at the Ministry of Healthcare since 2014. He was deputy director of the Department of Standardization of Medical Services.

In 2016–2017, he headed the Republican Diagnostic Center, was director of the branch of the University Medical Center.

In 2017–2018 he was head of the Astana Health Department. From March 2018 to the present, he has served as head of the Public Health Department of Astana.
