Zhanat Zhakhmetova dismissed from Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan

By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanat Zhakhmetova was dismissed from the post of Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to the submitted application. This was reported by the press service of the Government.

Zhanat Zahmetova was born in 1986 in Zhezkazgan.

She graduated from the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Zhezkazgan Baikonurov University and Aberdeen University.

She began her career in 2009 as a leading specialist in the testing laboratory of the National Center of Expertise and Certification JSC. 

In different years, she worked in the structural subdivisions of the central government agencies, supervising the formation of state policy in the field of informatization.

From 2014 to 2016, she was the head of the Department of formation of state policy in the field of informatization of the Committee for Communications, Informatization and Information of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2016 to 2020, she was Deputy Director of the Department of Informatization of the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From February 2020 to the present time, she held the position of Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
