Deputy Prime Minister Zhenis Kassymbek visits North Kazakhstan region: Preparing for spring sowing and flood period

Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Zhenis Kassymbek visited the North Kazakhstan region with a working trip on March 21, 2019.

As part of the working trip it is planned to study the readiness of the region for the spring sowing and the flood period visiting the main hydropower plants and reservoirs.

Meetings and visits to agricultural food and industrial enterprises, meetings with investors and entrepreneurs of the region are planned.

A meeting will be held on the “economy of simple things,” in which representatives of state bodies, the national chamber of entrepreneurs, second-tier banks, organizations and enterprises of the region will take part.

The goal of developing the “economy of simple things” is the production of food and industrial goods, which are used daily by Kazakhstanis, to prevent the growth of prices for socially important food products and their import substitution.
