Today in Astana, within the framework of Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with Executive Director of Railways KEC International Ltd. Rakesh Gaur, CEO of Mitsui & Co. Toshiaki Maruoka, a member of the board and CEO of Kibar Holding, Kerem Kibar, and vice president of Russian Railways JSC, Alexander Misharin.

During the meetings, issues of cooperation in the priority sectors of Kazakhstan's economy, such as transport and logistics infrastructure, water supply, energy and others were discussed.

Foreign partners expressed interest in promoting joint investment projects within the framework of the state programs of industrial and innovative development until 2020, Nurly Zhol, and the development of the agro-industrial complex.

Investors also showed interest in the possibility of participating in a project for the production of ethanol, meat processing in Kazakhstan with further exports to other countries, the implementation of a project for the introduction of technologies in the heat supply and other areas.
