On the instructions of the Head of State, the Prime Minister arrived in Mangistau region with a working trip to get acquainted with progress in implementing state programs and objectives of the Address "Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness", and measures to develop transport and logistics potential, social infrastructure of the region and business support. Bakytzhan Sagintayev arrived in Aktau after participating in work of EIGC, held in Yerevan (Armenia).

It is expected that within the framework of the working trip, Bakytzhan Sagintayev will hold a meeting with the public and the region's activists on topical issues of the region's development, as well as a meeting with members of the Regional Council of Atameken NCE on the development of small and medium businesses.

In addition, the Prime Minister will get acquainted with the operation of the ferry complex in the village of Kuryk and the construction of the second phase of the complex, as well as visit social infrastructure facilities and industrial enterprises.

Upon arrival in the region, in the evening of October 25, Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited a hostel in one of the microdistricts of Aktau, built within the framework of the regional program "Zhana Serpin", which is aimed at providing young specialists with housing and promoting the labor mobility of the unemployed population.

After that, the Prime Minister visited the multi-field clinic of Sofie Med Group LLP, which was built with the support of the state within the framework of the Business Roadmap 2020, which currently provides services to numerous general and narrow medical fields.
