Today in Ukimet Uyі a regular meeting of the Expert Council on Competitiveness was held with the participation of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev.

During the meeting, issues of improving mechanisms for implementing the principles of the Yellow Pages Rule, a system of measures to improve corporate governance and measures aimed at encouraging the renewal of fixed assets, modernization of production facilities, as well as the introduction of elements of the fourth industrial revolution were discussed.

In the spring of 2015, a law was adopted that enshrines the principles of the Yellow Pages Rule – the so-called "Yellow Pages Rules", to create effective protection of businesses from the actions of state bodies that restrict competition. In particular, there is a rule that prohibits the creation of a business with the participation of the state in cases when it comes to limiting competition.
