Today in Ukimet Uyi, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on issues of agro-industrial complex development (AIC).

During the meeting, Maps for the development of AIC priority directions, made with a purpose of the state agro-industrial policy improvement, as well as realization of the State Program for Agro-Industrial Complex Development for 2017-2021 were considered.

For reference: The Maps are developed in 13 directions:

• agricultural cooperation;
• agro-processing;
• intensive technical re-equipment of the AIC;
• seed production;
• increasing the effectiveness of phytosanitary measures;
• agrochemistry; fodder production (fodder balance);
• wholesale distribution centers;
• involving arable land in circulation;
• distant-pasture sheep breeding;
• cardinal modernization of agrarian science;
• production of beef;
• improvement of state support measures.
