In Ukimet Uyi the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a working meeting in the selector mode on the issues of achieving target indicators for the development of regional economy for 2018.

The results of the work done for the first quarter of this year and the plans for 2018, which were voiced in the speeches of akims of Mangistau region — Y. Tugzhanov, East Kazakhstan region — D. Akhmetov, Zhambyl region — A. Myrzakhmetov, Kostanay region — A. Mukhambetov, Karaganda region — Y. Koshanov, and Pavlodar region — B. Bakauov, were discussed.

The main directions of the development of the fuel and energy and agro-industrial complexes, transport and logistics, tourism, trade, modernization of health and education, as well as industrialization of the manufacturing industry, improvement of business conditions and deregulation of the economy, development of mass, including family entrepreneurship, modernization of labor market infrastructure, attraction of investments and technological re-equipment, including elements of the Industry 4.0 were considered.
