Today in Ukimet Uyi, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on the development of livestock in the country.

At the meeting, the main directions of the industry development, measures to increase the number of cattle and production of high-quality beef, including for export, as well as the formation of cattle-breeding farms were discussed. In addition, mechanisms for financing farming, expanding credit facilities and attracting strategic investors to the industry were considered.

Kazakh scientists, international experts, representatives of livestock farms, Atameken NCE, as well as regional akims in the selector mode participated in the meeting. Deputy Prime Minister ­– Minister of Agriculture, U. Shukeyev, Chairman of Atameken NCE, A. Myrzakhmetov, Asian Development Bank Country Director for Kazakhstan, G. Capannelli, Chief Manager at Cedar Meats Australia, E. L. Fernihof, Akim of Ereymentau deistrict, Akmola region, Y.Nugmanov, head of Karshyga farm (Aktobe region), A. Zhetenov and others made reports on the issue.
