Today in Ukimet Uyi, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev chaired a regular meeting of the Council on Improvement of Investment Climate.

At the meeting, issues of expanding opportunities for attracting foreign investment to the country's healthcare were discussed. In particular, the members of the Council shared their views on the modernization of the healthcare system, the new draft Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Public Health and Health Care System, the structure of medical insurance, the provision of transparent, high-quality medical purchases and effective interaction with global pharmaceutical suppliers in Kazakhstan.

In the open dialogue on the agenda were the US Ambassador to Kazakhstan, G. Krol, Commercial Consultant of the Embassy of Canada, D. Smith, partner of Ernst and Young, K. Babushkina, partner of Baker McKenzie, A. Yorsh, Chairman of the Board of Sanofi, R. Welaratne, Tax and Legal Partner of PwC, M. Ahern, as well as Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan, M. Beketayev and Vice Minister of Healthcare, A. Tsoy.
