Today in Ukimet Uyi Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev is holding negotiations with the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sapar Isakov.
In the evening, a large representative delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic headed by Prime Minister Sapar Isakov arrived in Astana. First Vice Prime Minister T. Abdygulov, Minister of Foreign Affairs E. Abdyldayev, Minister of Finance A. Kassymaliyev, Minister of Economy A. Novikov, Chairman of the State Customs Service A. Sulaimanov, Chairman of the State Tax Service O. Abdykaimov, Chairman of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes Z. Osmonov, Chairman of the State Migration Service M. Aidaraliev, Deputy Chairman of the State Border Service K. Isakov, and others.
Bilateral negotiations were held in a narrow format. Currently, negotiations are being held in an expanded format with the participation of heads of ministries and departments of the two countries. The meeting was initiated by the Kyrgyz side.

The trade turnover of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the Kyrgyz Republic for January-July 2017 amounted to $399.2 million, it increased by 28.1% ($87.6 million) compared to the same period of the last year ($311.6 million).
The trade balance of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the Kyrgyz Republic for January-July 2017 is positive and amounted to $127.6 million, an increase of 26% compared to the previous year ($101.2 million).
