Today Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Bandar M. H. Al Hajjar.

During the meeting, issues of deepening economic partnership with the IDB, cooperation within the framework of the economic strategy "One belt, one way", implementation of the IDB Special Program for the countries of Central Asia until 2020 were discussed.

In addition, the projects on the creation by the IDB of a new Fund for Science, Technology and Innovation, the Islamic Organization for Food Security with a headquarter in Astana, and issues the Astana International Financial Center in the development of the Islamic finance industry and the establishment of a regional hub of Islamic finance in our capital.
