Today at a briefing in the press center of the Government, Vice Minister of Information and Communications Kairat Balykbayev told about the progress of development of state electronic services in the framework of the 8th direction of the President's Address "Effective Public Administration.”

As noted by Kairat Balykbayev, the Head of State in his Address "New Opportunities for Development in the Conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" stressed the need to work to reduce costs for entrepreneurs and the population in the state administration.

To date, a number of tasks are being implemented in this area to improve the rendering of public services. First of all, we are talking about the development of the e-government portal and the activities of the State Corporation "Government for Citizens", which are undoubtedly the most convenient access points to public services.

"At the moment, out of 746 state services, 621 services or more than 83% have been transferred to the ‘Government for Citizens.’ Through the e-government infrastructure, 452 public services are available," Kairat Balykbayev said.

It should be noted that the Ministry is already working on the maximum optimization of the processes of rendering public services, including by transferring them to the electronic format. To date, proactive provision of public services related to the birth of a child has already been realized, 30 electronic services are available for reception on the e-government portal without EDS.

"Last year, the project ‘Services without certificates’ was launched, aimed at excluding the demand for electronic certificates by state bodies, as well as the service of obtaining such certificates by third parties with the permission of the citizen," the Vice Minister Kairat Balykbayev summed up.
